Objectives of the project

The objectives of the project are the following:

1. Empowerment of Social Sciences HE Educators: EduAI helps educators integrate AI technologies into their teaching methods.
2. Focus on Digital Readiness: Prepares educators to be digitally proficient and ready to use AI in their teaching.
3. Innovative Learning-Teaching Methods: Promotes the adoption of new, AI-driven teaching strategies.
4. Knowledge Sharing: Encourages collaboration and sharing of best practices across educational sectors.
5. Collaboration Across Sectors: Fosters collaboration between Higher Education (HE), Secondary Education (SE), Adult Education (AE), and Vocational Education and Training (VET).
6. Equipping Educators with Digital Skills: Provides educators with essential digital skills to incorporate AI seamlessly into pedagogical practices.

Dissemination Activities:

• Continuous updates of the EduAI HUB with project information and social media posts.
• Networking and promotional efforts, including:
  • Flyers: one at the beginning to introduce the project, and another at the end to present the results.
  • Periodic newsletters at key project milestones.
  • Translated materials to engage the target audience.
• Active social media presence with content related to the project’s theme and activities.
• All partners will register dissemination activities using a standardized form.

Exploitation Activities:

• Four national conferences in partner countries, conducted in their respective languages.
• One international conference in Turkey, featuring two external keynote speakers, conducted in English.
• The events will be tailored to:
  • Higher education social sciences teachers.
  • HEI managers and staff.
  • Other relevant stakeholders.
• Primary objective: Increase project visibility and provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the project’s outcomes.
• All events will be documented in exploitation and dissemination reports.
• An IPR agreement will be established to manage intellectual property.
• A Sustainability Declaration will be created for long-term impact, targeting associate partners, key stakeholders, and policymakers.

• An innovative and engaging course that incorporates AI tools into the learning and teaching experience.

Guidance for Collaborative Innovation in AI Education:

• Provides guidance to encourage collaborative innovation and creativity within AI-integrated education.
• Aims to foster teamwork and new ideas in the field of AI education.

Objectives of the project

The objectives of the project are the following:

• • • Help local TVET key players develop the skills they need to be more competitive, sustainable, and efficient by adopting an entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Drive innovation in the entrepreneurship and self-employment sectors, with a focus on social enterprises, self-employment, and using Social Impact Evaluation to support socio-economic development.
    • To create an environment for VET tourism clusters to offer integrated, innovative, and effective TVET-business services that connect with public policies and positively impact local communities.
    • Support quality processes like strategic planning, peer reviews for quality management and internationalization, MEAL, and impact assessments, alongside advocacy and awareness strategies at local, regional, and policy levels.
    • Work towards creating lasting change by integrating social impact evaluations into all the processes, policies, and actions related to social entrepreneurship, job creation, and business development.

Expected Main Results

• The project will improve the skills of TVET providers and managers in areas like school management and evaluation, while students and trainers will benefit from modern teaching methods and increased employability, especially for women and vulnerable groups. Work-based learning programs and start-up incubation will offer real-world experience and job opportunities. Universities, business incubators, and public actors will strengthen their incubation services, benefiting the local community. The social entrepreneurship sector will grow through capacity building and innovation in social impact evaluation. At the national level, Egypt and Palestine will see increased youth employment, stronger VET-social entrepreneurship links, and improved networks, advocacy, and labor quality. Regionally, the VET ecosystem will become more sustainable, fostering TVET-business partnerships and enhancing cooperation and skill-sharing among stakeholders.

Main Activities:

WP1: Project management and coordination

Project management and coordination will involve a variety of key tasks crucial for the successful organization and execution of the project. These tasks include partner meetings, creating a communication and a quality assurance plan, conducting risk assessments, planning activities, monitoring and controlling project tasks and reporting. 

WP2: VET ecosystem’s capabilities reinforcement and strengthening of sustainability:

The project includes training modules on the Entrepreneurial CoVE conceptual framework, which covers self-assessment tools for organizational practices, teaching and learning processes, ecosystems, and products and services. These modules will be implemented for Egyptian and Palestinian TVET centers, vocational training centers (VTCs), universities, chambers of commerce, and education/employment agencies. The self-assessment tool will help these institutions evaluate and enhance their practices, aiming to become strategic partners in multi-actor clusters for local development. Additionally, a training module on Digital Strategies will be provided, focusing on online learning and creating digital plans or roadmaps linked to entrepreneurial activities, helping these organizations further integrate digital strategies into their work.

WP3: Innovation through social entrepreneurship and social impact evaluation:

The project includes an initial assessment and mapping of social entrepreneurship in Egypt, focusing on policies, initiatives, models, and best practices, while updating existing data for Palestine. This will help enhance social entrepreneurship as a key driver of socio-economic development. Training and peer-to-peer learning on social entrepreneurship and self-employment will be provided by Palestinian actors to Egyptian TVET centers, vocational training centers (VTCs), universities, chambers of commerce, and education/employment agencies. Additionally, training on Social Impact Evaluation will be offered to Egyptian and Palestinian TVET centers, VTCs, universities, companies, and relevant agencies. Lastly, training on fundraising, marketing, and communication strategies will be provided to these institutions, equipping them with the skills needed to promote and sustain social entrepreneurship initiatives.

WP4: Pilot initiatives on relevant economic clusters:
The project will start with an assessment aimed at creating and strengthening two vocational clusters in the field of community-based tourism—one in Egypt and one in Palestine. This will be followed by the development of long-term strategic plans, including business plans for each cluster partner, yearly action plans, and joint programs to support the development of sustainable and integrated VET-business initiatives for both clusters. Two hackathons on community-based tourism will be organized, one in Palestine and one in Egypt, to encourage innovation in the sector. Finally, an international conference will be held in Egypt to present the results of the hackathons, showcase the development of the clusters, share best practices, and discuss future programs.

WP5: Impact and Dissemination:
The project will begin with a preliminary assessment in Egypt and the development of an evaluation report on the social impact of the vocational clusters in Palestine. Peer review processes will be conducted to assess the quality planning and management of TVET business services, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement. Additionally, a dissemination and communication strategy will be created, along with an operational workplan to ensure the successful implementation and outreach of the project’s activities and outcomes.

• • • Enhance the quality of higher education institutions (HEIs) in Georgia and Ukraine by fostering collaboration between HEIs and national actors to drive reform initiatives.
    • Develop the skills and competencies of HEI staff and students, preparing them for success in modern agricultural knowledge, technology, sustainable practices, and digital transformation.
    • Modernize agricultural education in Ukraine and Georgia by integrating innovative technologies into higher education curricula.
    • Improve resources for HEIs by identifying relevant frameworks and collaborations within the agricultural sector.
    • Upskill teacher training programs to make higher education more relevant to the labor market and society in Ukraine and Georgia.
    • Promote inclusion, equality, and equity within the higher education system.
    • Strengthen cooperation between industry and academia to enhance the relevance of higher education to the labor market and society.

National/Local Level – Ukraine and Georgia:

• Modernization of Agricultural Practices: The introduction of precision agriculture will improve agricultural productivity and sustainability in Ukraine and Georgia, addressing challenges like conflict and market disconnection. The updated curriculum will enhance the relevance of higher education to the labor market and society, incorporating digital technologies and sustainable practices.

• Strengthening HEI and Industry Collaboration: Targeted training and the establishment of technology labs will bridge the gap between HEIs and the agricultural industry, promoting innovation and job creation. Capacity-building activities will foster stronger collaboration between institutions and industry, paving the way for future partnerships.

• Enhancing Digitalization and Sustainability Awareness: Research and curriculum development will foster greater awareness of digitalization, sustainability, and digital literacy, integrating the latest online teaching techniques and green skills into agricultural education.

• Alignment with Labor Market Needs: Collaboration between HEIs and labor market representatives will ensure that the curriculum aligns with the needs of the agricultural sector, addressing both scientific foundations and market demands.

European/Global Level:

• • Strengthening the EU Objective of “Leaving No One Behind”: Transnational collaboration will contribute to EU initiatives such as the Green Deal and the European Skills Agenda, promoting pedagogical innovation and agricultural sustainability across member states and neighboring regions.

  • Promotion of Innovative Teaching Approaches in EU-Eastern Neighborhood Cooperation: The project will disseminate curriculum reform models and foster digital educational interactions, improving online teaching effectiveness and addressing connectivity challenges.

  • Boosting Innovation and Employability: ReGrow will address skill gaps in the agricultural sector by developing an advanced curriculum and facilitating capacity-building activities, ensuring better alignment with employer needs and boosting innovation within the sector.

  • Enhanced Alignment of the HE Sector in the EU and Partner Countries: By prioritizing digital culture in the curriculum, the project will bridge gaps between higher education institutions and youth organizations, supporting curriculum design and instruction in Ukraine and Georgia.

• Identify MSc programs in Precision Agriculture in universities in Ukraine, Georgia, and Europe.
• Analyze existing tertiary-level vocational education and training (VET) curricula in Ukraine and Georgia.
  This WP aims to assess the current educational offerings and identify gaps in curricula for Precision Agriculture.

1. WP4: Development of ReGrow MSc Curriculum & Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) Frameworks

• Organize study visits to the EU to inform curriculum development.
• Design and develop the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
• Create the curriculum outline for the ReGrow MSc program.
  This WP focuses on designing and developing the curriculum and the framework for the VLE.

1. WP5: Creation of Educational Materials, Labs Infrastructure & Capacity Building

• Develop learning materials for the ReGrow program.
• Set up equipment and establish ReGrow Labs in Ukraine and Georgia.
• Adapt curricula to the specific needs of each country.
• Build capacity by training Ukrainian and Georgian university staff on the new curriculum.
• Plan an internship program in Georgia.
  This WP focuses on preparing the necessary materials and infrastructure for the program and building the capacity of staff.

1. WP6: Accreditation Processes and Implementation of the ReGrow MSc Program

• Achieve accreditation for the ReGrow MSc program.
• Deliver the ReGrow MSc program to students.
  This WP focuses on the accreditation process and the actual delivery of the curriculum.
