The ALLIANCE project is driven by the following core objectives:

1. Establishing International Offices in VET Institutions
   – To create structured spaces within 5 VET schools (3 in Albania, 2 in Kosovo) that support international project management and mobility coordination.

2. Enhancing Skills and Competencies of VET Staff
   – To train staff in project management, R&D, digital and green competences, using the DigComp and GreenComp frameworks.

3. Promoting Knowledge Transfer and Regional Collaboration
   – To enable peer-learning and transfer of expertise between Albanian and Kosovar institutions through joint training, adaptation workshops, and mentoring.

4. Boosting International Mobility and Cooperation
   – To increase opportunities for student and staff mobility by establishing strategic international partnerships and information support structures.

5. Supporting VET Modernization and Market Responsiveness
   – To align VET education with European and labor market standards through updated training content and collaborative innovation.

6. Creating a Sustainable Internationalization Framework
   – To ensure the long-term impact of the project by embedding internationalization practices into institutional strategies and national VET policies.

Expected Results

The key results expected from the ALLIANCE project include:

1. Operational International Offices
   – Five fully functional International Offices equipped with trained staff and operational protocols.

2. Capacity-Building Curriculum and E-Learning Platform
   – Development of a multilingual online training platform, guidebooks, and a curriculum covering international cooperation, mobility, and stakeholder engagement.

3. Trained VET Personnel
   – At least 50 VET staff upskilled in areas like project management, R&D, English proficiency, and intercultural communication.

4. Peer-Learning and Cross-Border Collaboration Activities
   – Implementation of joint learning schemes and study visits to EU institutions for knowledge exchange and capacity development.

5. Mobility Support Structures and Awareness Events
   – Organization of Info Days, launch events, and awareness-raising campaigns to promote mobility opportunities for students and staff.

6. Impact Monitoring and Evaluation Tools
   – Design and use of KPIs and reporting systems to assess the effectiveness of International Offices and training programs.

7. Institutional and Policy Alignment
   – Contribution to national education strategies in Albania and Kosovo, supporting the implementation of the EU’s VET and Youth Guarantee agendas.

Objectives of the project

The VET4Youth project aims to address critical gaps in the vocational education and training systems of Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan by implementing a comprehensive strategy to enhance their responsiveness and attractiveness within the local context. By fostering internationalization through alignment with EU Competence Frameworks and facilitating virtual exchanges between EU and Southern Mediterranean VET institutes, the project builds the capacity of local providers. Through the development of an innovative curriculum and Train-the-Trainers workshops, VET4Youth equips learners with vital digital and green skills, emphasizing transversal competences to boost long-term employability. Additionally, the project establishes strong collaborations between VET institutes and labor market representatives while raising awareness of the critical role digital and green skills play in transforming local labor markets.

Expected Results

The VET4Youth project is anticipated to achieve significant results, transforming the vocational education and training landscape in Egypt, Lebanon, and Jordan. By addressing the weaknesses of national VET systems, the project will enhance their responsiveness and attractiveness, fostering greater alignment with local labour market needs. Through the integration of EU Competence Frameworks, it will internationalize local VET institutes, enabling them to adopt best practices and operate on par with their European counterparts.

The capacity of local VET providers will be strengthened through virtual exchanges with EU institutes, the development of an innovative curriculum, and the delivery of Train-the-Trainers workshops, equipping educators with the tools to implement modern and effective teaching methodologies. Young learners will benefit from a cutting-edge training program, combining asynchronous and synchronous activities, designed to enhance their digital and green skills while emphasizing transversal competences critical for employment in various sectors.

Furthermore, the project will establish sustainable collaborations between VET institutes and labour market representatives, ensuring that curricula remain relevant and market-responsive. By raising awareness about the importance of digital and green skills, VET4Youth will actively contribute to the twin transformation of local economies, driving progress toward sustainable development and improved employability outcomes for young people.

Objectives of the project
SO1: To identify a training structure starting from existing and emerging skills needed for the green transition of the TCLF sector, based on sustainable and circular economy principles. 

SO2: To develop innovative and multidisciplinary curricula for HE and c-VET, based on learner centred, active learning, problem and practice based learning, also promoting mobility opportunities for learners, on the topic of green transition of the TCLF sector. 

SO3: To promote the acquisition of TCLF’ functional, as well as transversal and green knowledge, competences and skills for learners (university students/TCLF owners/ workers/managers), with the final aim of providing them with proper professional competences in order to fill the gap with the labour market needs, up-skilling and re-skilling of workers/TCLF MSMs owners and staff in order to adapt their profiles/companies to the new requirements of the labour market toward the green transition of the TCLF sector. 

SO4: To promote the flow and co-creation of knowledge between higher education/research and vocational education and training, the public sector and the business sector in order to contribute to innovation in business modelling and in education and training. 

SO5: To face the above-mentioned challenges, SO5 is to promote the development of a supportive ecosystem for the green transformation of the MSMEs in the TCLF sector and start-ups, in the form of an interactive platform and local hub that will be based upon the creation of local multi-actor networks including all potential stakeholders for green solutions.

Objectives of the project
This initiative aims to raise awareness about the discrimination faced by the Roma community while simultaneously facilitating communication with entrepreneurs and employers regarding opportunities to engage with Roma individuals. The creation of the Roma Stakeholders Database will centralize this information, making it easily accessible. Furthermore, the MIRANDA project seeks to improve the services offered by vocational education and training (VET) schools for Roma and other marginalized groups, as well as to enhance the appeal of VET schools within the Roma community. This will be achieved through the development of Guidebooks for VET Empowerment, a sustainable resource. To further support this effort, VET trainers and staff will participate in Training for Trainers (ToT) sessions to boost motivation and effectiveness.

• To standardize the procedure of greening of a VET provider: by developing a standardized procedure, the certification process could help to ensure that all VET providers seeking certification meet a consistent set of criteria and follow a consistent process. 
• To support the implementation of EU VET policy: The European Commission has manifested the importance of VET in acheiving the goals of the Green Deal through various decisions and recommendations.
