U2VET
U2VET aims to integrate Ukrainian refugees into vocational training and further into society and labor market. Project partners will share and gather good practices related to the process of integrating Ukrainians to VET and develop a set of guides, tools and materials and pilot locally at the VET schools the whole process and integrate Ukrainian refugees into vocational training with the support of individual skills identification, integration training and preparatory training.
The project aims to respond to the need of those fleeing the war from Ukraine, by means and tools of vocational training, to adapt them into society through individual skills identification and integration, preparatory and vocational training. The project develops in cooperation with the local companies flexible, agile paths to working life. These study paths will be formed based on the working life needs. In addition to the normal study paths such as apprenticeships, the project aims to find new paths, which enables faster employment by utilizing small sets of skills, micro credentials. The project will support Ukrainians in their efforts to gain vocational education and employment and have their knowledge, skills, and education recognized and approved in a new country. It will also help them adapt to the labor market needs and increase the flexibility of opportunities in vocational education and training. The project will achieve these objectives by partnering with organizations that understand the ethical needs of society to adapt to immigrants, providing them with accurate and relevant information, visualizing the process and institutions they need to be familiar with, and encouraging self-dedicated learning models. Additionally, the project will support them in communicating their needs, and provide opportunities to develop their skills and career prospects in their new country.
