HomeBoundHorizons implements a series of activities aimed at empowering people experiencing homelessness, strengthening adult education services, and promoting social and labour market inclusion.
– Development of a Holistic Support Methodology: Design of an integrated approach combining personal empowerment, well-being, coaching, and employability skills, tailored to the needs of people experiencing homelessness.
– Capacity Building for Local Learning Centres: Assessment and improvement of local learning centres, alongside training activities for adult educators, social workers, and support service professionals to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of their services.
– Empowerment and Employability Training: Implementation of a two-phase training programme combining group seminars and individual coaching sessions to enhance beneficiaries’ personal, social, and professional skills.
– Business Engagement and Mentoring: Organisation of Be-the-Mentor-of-the-Day workshops, connecting people experiencing homelessness with local businesses to encourage mentoring, practical learning, and employment opportunities.
– Community Building and Awareness Raising: Development of advocacy campaigns, stakeholder networking activities, local events, and storytelling videos to raise awareness of homelessness, promote social inclusion, and strengthen community engagement.
– Dissemination and Knowledge Sharing: Promotion of project activities, educational resources, methodologies, and results through the project website, social media, and dissemination initiatives to support their wider use and long-term impact.
