Objectives of the project
AGILITe project aims at:
1. building the digital competences of VET tutors;
2. building the entrepreneurial spirit of VET tutors;
3. building an understanding of the European Green Deal and the new business opportunities it offers.
AGILITe aims to develop a continuous professional development training programme that simultaneously addresses DigCompEdu, EntreComp and The European Green Deal, to assist VET tutors in developing innovative and engaging learning frameworks to harness the potential of nascent entrepreneurs by building their key competences.
Expected Results
AGILITe projects aims to improve the VET service provision. To achieve this, partners are proposing to develop a comprehensive in-service training programme for VET tutors to build their digital competences; develop an entrepreneurial spirit within the VET sector; and raise awareness of the employment opportunities that the European
Green Deal offers for individuals.
In particular, there are 4 proposed intellectual outputs:
- AGILITe DigCompEdu EduZines for building the digital competences of VET tutors.
- AGILITe EntreComp EduZines for building an entrepreneurial spirit within the VET sector.
- AGILITe EduZines for building an understanding of the principles for a circular economy within the VET sector.
- AGILITe MOOC and Community of Practice to present the comprehensive toolkits of in-service training materials for VET tutors through the EduZines developed.
Project Activities
IO1. A toolkit of 6 EduZines will be developed, one to address each of the following competences: professional engagement, digital resources, teaching and learning, assessment, empowering learners, facilitating learners’ digital competence
IO2. A toolkit of 5 EduZines will be developed, one for each of the 5 competences identified in the “Ideas & Opportunities” identified in EntreComp, namely; (1) spotting opportunities; (2) creativity; (3) vision; (4) valuing ideas; (5) ethical and sustainable thinking. These five competences have been specifically chosen as they focus on the building of solution focused knowledge, skills and attitudes that are a pre-requisite for developing an entrepreneurial spirit in VET
IO3. A toolkit of 8 EduZines will be developed, one for each of the following circular economy principles: a) design out waste; b) build resilience through diversity; c) use renewables; d) think in systems; e) waste is food; f) think in cascades; g) think local; h) focus on performance. These selected principles are derived from The Ellen MacArthur Foundation, one of the leading proponents and reference experts for the circular economy.
IO4 – Development of a MOOC platform and Community of Practice to present the comprehensive toolkits of in-service training materials for VET tutors through the EduZines developed.
