INDO
The InDo project aims to build the capacities of educators in the deployment of Understanding by Design and Differentiated Instruction as a structured approach to proactively cater for student diversity and inclusion through INDO’s developed resources, to empower educators to put technological solutions at the service of pedagogy and boost their teaching performance and finally to optimize relevancy and effectiveness for educators across Europe.
Objectives of the project
The main objectives of InDo project are to build the capacities of educators in the deployment of UbD and DI as a structured approach to proactively cater for student diversity and inclusion through the developed resources, to empower educators to put technological solutions at the service of pedagogy and boost their teaching performance and finally to optimize relevancy and effectiveness for educators across Europe through rigorous research and test each resource. The project will increase the visibility of digital technologies in Higher Education and support the incorporation of new teaching methods and learning tools into the curricula programs of HE Institutions. Professors will be equipped with new skills and fresh teaching methods, while learners will be attracted by new digital applications during their learning path.
Expected Results
The project aims to develop resources for inclusive and innovative teaching strategies, including a curriculum, a compendium, an app, and a policy recommendation report.
60 teachers and trainers test the resources, while 400 teachers and trainers and 150 educational managers and stakeholders access and download the resources online.
The resources aim to increase knowledge and awareness of differentiated instruction and enable the development of 21st-century skills and competencies.
The project also aims to empower and train educators in pedagogic innovation and create an implementation plan for inclusive education.
A strategic dissemination campaign is planned to ensure at least 550 educators, managers, and stakeholders use the resources in the short term.
