Digi-Branding
Digi-Branding is a project funded by the European Union as part of KA220-VET – Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training, which aims to improve the training programmes offered in vocational schools in the fashion industry. It is a comprehensive action plan to address the environmental impact of the fashion industry through two main components: Circular Economy Strategies and Digital Transformation.
The project focuses on upskilling teachers and trainers in VET to better prepare learners for the evolving needs of the fashion industry, aligning with the European Union’s policy agenda and best practises.
The Digi-Branding project is realised through a strategic partnership between European organisations in six different countries (Spain, Portugal, Greece, Germany, Bulgaria and Turkey) that play a certain role in textile and clothing manufacturing.
Objectives of the project
- An upscaling strategy for vocational training curricula in the fashion industry with A focus on digitalisation and sustainability
- A training course for vocational school teachers/trainers
- Closing the gap between the requirements of the fashion industry and the skills of VET learners
- Modernising the skills of teachers and trainers in vocational education and training
- Improving the quality of vocational training in the fashion industry
- Raising awareness on reducing the impact of fashion on the environment
Expected Results and Outcomes
The following results (R) should be achieved:
- A strategic plan for upscaling fashion studies
- A training curriculum for teachers/trainers in vocational education and training
- A training course
- A report with recommendations
- Raising awareness of the impact of fashion on the planet
- Improving the quality of vocational training in the fashion industry
- Better career prospects for VET learners
- A training opportunity for teachers and trainers in the fashion industry with a focus on digitalisation and sustainability
- Project Activities
The project divides its activities into work packages, i.e. self-contained work units that serve to organise and manage tasks. This is a collection of related activities or tasks that are summarised for planning, monitoring and control purposes. A work package usually comprises a series of activities, deliverables, resources required to complete the work, schedules and a budget.
The project is structured around 5 WPs and 21 activities.
WP1: Project Management
WP2: Strategy for Upscaling Fashion VET Curricula according to DigiComp and GreenComp 2.0 Frameworks

- A 2.2 Collection of good practices in Fashion VET studies with a focus on digitalization and sustainability
- A 2.3 Consultation with stakeholders from the fashion industry to assess the potential of digitalization in fashion
