Going Live!
The Going Live project aims at increasing the employment opportunities for Seasonal Workers within the tourism sector, who often face long periods of unemployment during the closed season. The project aims at teaching these Seasonal Workers a
range of digital, green and entrepreneurial skills that will help them create and develop new ways to perform and demonstrate their professional skills online to a new audience, who will potentially follow or view further presentations. of theirs in an online platform that will be created.
Objectives of the project
- Design a full training programme to teach a range of digital skills, entrepreneurial
skills and green skills to Seasonal Tourism Workers. - Create a Digital Online Platform for users to present themselves to others, who may
wish to follow or subscribe to the performers webinars or uploaded content. - Offer a long-term career pathway to more digital and green jobs while promoting
entrepreneurship. - Promote the project results and reach the widest possible audience of workers and
stakeholders within the tourism sector.
Expected Results
1. The Going Live Training course, that will teach a range of Digital, Green and Entrepreneurial Skills to Seasonal Tourism Worker.
2. The Going Live Platform for users to present their professional skills to the wider public.
These results combined will help the seasonal tourist workers how to use a range of digital techniques that will allow them to demonstrate and perform their professional skills to a wider online audience during the low season.
Project Activities
2. Activities and tasks that will make possible the tangible outcomes of the project including research, design, development, programming, testing and improvements (WP2 and WP3).
3. Activities to enhance collaboration and exchange of good practices (TPMs in WP2-4).
4. Activities to present, explain, disseminate and give visibility to the Project Results (WP4).
